What was the biggest reason Republicans lost control of Congress in the midterms?
Democrats swept both the House and Senate in the Nov. 3 midterms; President Trump and VP JD Vance blamed the months-long Iran war for the defeat, while exit polls pointed to affordability.
Option 3, as it encompasses 1 and 2 plus all the other Trump-driven chaos, corruption, and distractions.
...At the same time though, it implies that he is the keystone of the problems besetting us, and he's not; no images better capture the truth about the modern Presidency than those pictures I'm sure you've seen of DJT taking a turn as a McDonald's cashier (amusing that when he did so, he wound up looking like the Wendy's guy).
Gotta disagree with you completely about who’s doing the chaos, corruption, etc. Under Trump DOGE exposed those very things….our tax money going to “Learing Centers”, USAID bankrolling “mostly peaceful” riots, excuse me….student protests, illegals getting homes & cars at taxpayer expense, and 300k to 500k unaccompanied illegal immigrant children funneled to God knows where in the US and Biden didn’t care…..too busy funneling in the family fortune from China or withholding $$ from Ukraine until they fire a guy investigating corruption. And what do the other dems do about it? They make it a crime to expose it with legislation like the “Nick Shirley” Act in CA. Trump went off the rails and lost a whole lot of his base, but corruption, violence and mayhem are the democrats modus operandi…..just ask Charlie Kirk. Oh, never mind.
If you're voting cost of living, where's the line between "prices too high" and "war with Iran made gas and groceries spike" — same wallet, different culprit.
