Privacy Policy

Last updated July 18, 2026

Groundbeat is an opinion-polling site. Our whole product is aggregate opinion, so our privacy posture is simple: we collect the minimum needed to keep polls honest, we show individual answers to no one, and we don't sell personal data.

What we collect

Cookies and device storage

We set one session cookie to keep you signed in, and use your browser's local storage for small conveniences (a pending vote while you sign in, whether you've dismissed a banner). If you enable poll alerts, your browser creates a push subscription you can revoke anytime. Advertising (Google AdSense) may set its own cookies subject to your consent choices in the consent banner; see Google's policies for details.

Emails

We send sign-in codes, and — only if you opt in — the Weekly Pulse digest, which has a one-click unsubscribe in every message. No marketing lists, no sharing your address.

What we never do

Your choices

You can clear any profile dimension, turn alerts and emails off, or stop using the site at any time. To delete your account and its data entirely, email hello@groundbeat.com from the address you signed up with and we'll take care of it.
