'Tear them all down' is one way to do so, isn't it? I'm not certain how well the "genie" analogy works in this case; if those data-centers are the "bottles", the "genies" are still in them and their out-ness is an illusion.
Yes, as with social media. No easy ask, but guardrails are needed, especially as AI capabilities grow. We're in uncharted territory on so many levels.
