SpaceX's planned rocket facility in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana, has drawn concern from local residents and educators over its potential impact on nearby wildlife.
Would be great to see a facility of this scale to drive our progress in space. Love that. And it would provide jobs for the local economy. We should, though, require a real environmental review and protections for the wetlands. NIMBY challenges will exist anywhere.
