It's going to be a tough transition, for sure. Hopefully most come out better in the end, like with the industrial revolution, but the scale and pace of change is likely to be unlike anything we've seen before.
It's a dead end and a ghastly waste, a spectacular yet risible hail-Mary by status quo oligarchs with no vision. I'm surprised and concerned at people's enthusiasm/fatalism for it here.
