Was President Trump right to ease sanctions and buy Russian diesel to lower U.S. fuel prices?

President Trump announced a deal with Russia's Vladimir Putin for the U.S. to obtain over 300,000 tons of Russian diesel and to ease Russian fuel sanctions until April 2027 to curb rising prices before the midterms, a reversal that drew criticism from Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

So he eases sanctions on Russia to shave a bit off diesel prices while Russia is still attacking Ukraine? That's trading away our principles for an election boost. A very Trump thing to do.

if you're voting yes, how low do gas prices have to go before buying from russia stops bothering you at all?
