Should the U.S. ban foreign ownership of American farmland?

Where is the line drawn? Can foreigners buy US companies? Can foreigners own majority interst in US corporations? Can foreigners own stock in US companies? What exactly is the fear of foreigners owning farmland? It can't be removed from the US. And use of the land in ways prejudicial to US interests could, in extreme cases, subject the land to eminent domain action.

Corporations should be considered foreign countries. They act like them. The problem is we have a world run by two layers of government, and the one that is now more in control coyly denies it. Popping the illusory distinction between corporations and states would change EVERYTHING.

If you're voting "yes, ban it" — does that mean all foreign buyers, or just certain countries? Curious where the line sits for you.
