Should the NFL expand its regular season to 18 games?

NFL owners have floated lengthening the regular season from 17 to 18 games.

How about instead the NFL focuses on preventing and treating traumatic brain injuries of its players. The NFL is entertainment. Nothing more. That isn't worth early dementia and sometimes worse.

I read something recently (may've just been his Wikipedia article) suggesting the whole O.J. Simpson drama may have been because that happened to him (and just imagine - that would mean the NFL's cavalier handling of its players' well-being would be to blame not only for murder, but ALSO FOR REALITY TV!!!).
