I think his constituents deserve to have a functioning Senator. I also think Dianne Feinstein should have resigned when she became too frail, both physically and mentally.

I'm okay with physically frail if they're mentally capable. There's something to be said for the wisdom of years (ideally in collaboration with the energy and fresh thinking of youth)

Yes, he has every right to complete his term. McConnell is a loathsome creep but the people of Kentucky elected him and there is no legal avenue to force him to relinquish his seat.
