Was the Pentagon wrong to press U.S. airmen shot down over Iran to appear in a '60 Minutes' interview?
CNN reported on September 12, 2026 that the Pentagon pressed U.S. airmen who were shot down over Iran to participate in a CBS '60 Minutes' interview.
The management shift at CBS News / 60 Minutes was definitely noticeable. I already miss Scott Pelley and Cecilia Vega.
If you're voting "appropriate," where's the line: is it fine because they weren't ordered, just strongly encouraged? Curious what counts as pressure to you.
