Should Canada hit back at new U.S. tariffs with tariffs of its own?

It's good to see our allies (or former allies) showing some backbone. The consequences of these tariffs (and other alienation of our allies) are far-reaching and long-term. I hope that in two years we can move past the damage done here, but I wouldn't blame our allies for being skeptical of the American people for a very long time.

to everyone picking "hold off" — what's the tariff that finally makes you flip, and if there isn't one, why bother saying it out loud?
