I used to trust them more. With the increasing use of the shadow docket and this court's composition, I do trust them less.
I think our democracy is going to come out of the Trump era battered and bruised, but it'll survive, heal, and maybe even be better off for the scars. So far, SCOTUS has not been as one-sided as I thought it might.
