Donald Trump attempted to subvert an election. The facts are clear and uncontested. Republicans brought 60 cases questioning the vote and came away with nothing. Trump also retained classified documents, storing them in a ballroom and a bathroom at his Mar-a-Lago club. The photographs are public record. Jack Smith was absolutely right to bring charges. We are either a nation of laws or we are doomed.

If you're voting yes, where's your line: same charges, different timing, no election year — still a clean call?
