Do you store your eggs in the fridge or on the counter?

For store bought eggs, or fresh from the chicken and cleaned eggs, they should be stored in the fridge unless they are likely to be used up in days, with the house kept to a 'reasonable' temperature. If they are 'fresh from the chicken' with the other stuff that comes from that end of the chicken, they have a longer shelf life stored outside the fridge and should never be stored in the fridge until after they are cleaned. Otherwise the condensation in the fridge eases the path of the poop through the shell of the egg...
